Background

Ning Qi is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University, working with Prof. Bolun Xu. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2023, advised by Prof. Lin Cheng, and his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2018, advised by Prof. Yanxia Zhang and Prof. Yunfei Mu. Before joining Columbia, he was a research fellow at the Digital Power System Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, working with Prof. Feng Liu. He was a visiting scholar at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2022, hosted by Prof. Pierre Pinson and Prof. Mads R. Almassalkhi.
